Woven with Story & Memory

These quilts, handmade by my Mama, are a reminder of the beauty, history, and love stitched into the heart of Raspberry Tapestry.

I grew up surrounded by quilts — each one stitched by my Mama with love, care, and creativity.

Her artistry shaped my own, teaching me that design is both heritage and innovation.

Today, Raspberry Tapestry carries those threads forward, blending timeless tradition with influences gathered from journeys around the world.

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

 Proverbs 31:25

When my husband Erick and I traveled the globe, serving and learning along the way, I discovered the astonishing beauty of God’s world.

From Mali’s wide bushland to Thailand’s turquoise shores, from the grandeur of Florence’s cathedral to the intricate tiles of Morocco, each place whispered a piece of His creativity.

Some inspiration comes from landscapes, others from the work of human hands — stone inlaid at the Taj Mahal, Turkish rugs woven with patience, or the vibrant saris of India.

These sights mix into my soul like threads, becoming part of the fabric of my designs.

What a blessing to behold the richness of His creation, both natural and man-made.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.

Where the Work Happens

Now, as empty nesterS, Erick AND I DO STILL TRAVEL, BUT I find joy in creating from home — often surrounded by brushes, color swatches, and stacks of Mama’s quilts nearby. Every day feels like a gift.

Sometimes I begin with pencil sketches, sometimes with paints, sometimes with photos from our travels. My process isn’t one single path, but rather a gathering of inspiration and letting it flow.

In each design, I hope to weave joy and a little echo of God’s beauty into something that brightens another’s life.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

Threads of Grace

Life is woven with both bright colors and darker threads — seasons of joy and seasons of struggle. Yet through it all, the Lord’s grace is steady.

He offers HOPE when days feel heavy, and joy that outlasts circumstances.

My work, my home, even laughter CAUSED BY SILLY pets or the comfort of quilts, are reminders of His goodness.

Raspberry Tapestry exists as a reflection of gratitude for Him and the blessings He’s poured out — and my prayer is that each design carries a spark of that joy and beauty into your own life.

From His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

 John 1:16
