Scandi Tulip Collection
Scandinavian-inspired patterns for fabric, wallpaper & home
Inspired by Scandinavian decorative traditions, Scandi Tulip brings stylized florals, graceful stripes, quilt-inspired geometry, and small coordinating patterns together in a collection made for layering.
The collection began with Fjord Teal and Antique Gold, a rich color story I developed for my own home. From there, the patterns grew into three additional palettes: warm red, forest green, and soft natural tones. Each has its own character, and the designs are made to work beautifully together in fabric, wallpaper, and everyday living.
Fjord Teal Antique Gold
Deep teal and antique gold give Scandi Tulip its original, richly layered character. Inspired by the colors and textiles in my own Study, this palette brings warmth and a little drama to walls, upholstery, and smaller accents.
Available as wallpaper, fabric, bedding, curtains, pillows, and home décor through Spoonflower.
Warm Tradition — Red & Ivory
Warm red and soft ivory bring a familiar, welcoming feeling to the collection. Try the tulip stripe on a wall, then layer in a coordinating geometric or small-scale print for a room with character in every season.
Woodland Calm — Forest Green & Ivory
Forest Pine and ivory offer a grounded, restful take on Scandi Tulip. The floral motifs and quilt-inspired patterns can be mixed across bedding, cushions, and other textiles for a look that feels collected rather than matched.
Soft & Natural — Neutral Linen
Soft tan and ivory let the collection’s shapes and textures take the lead. This quieter palette is easy to layer with wood, linen, and treasured pieces, whether you choose a patterned wall or just a touch of fabric.
Patterns Made for Layering
A floral stripe can take the lead while quilt-inspired geometry, delicate motifs, and coordinating solids play supporting roles. Mix the designs across curtains, upholstery, cushions, bedding, or wallpaper to create a room that feels thoughtfully collected over time.
Scandinavian Folk Florals
Choose a more open arrangement or a fuller garden of tulips.
Scandi Florals are Available in additional scales on Spoonflower.
A Scandinavian Christmas
Inspired by Scandinavian folk art, Scandi Tulip brings together traditional red, forest green, and warm ivory in patterns that feel at home during the holidays. Floral stripes, quilt-inspired geometry, and delicate motifs can be mixed across table linens, stockings, cushions, and other pieces brought out year after year.
In traditional red, forest green, and warm natural tones, Scandi Tulip feels especially at home during the holidays. Pair a bold floral with a quieter geometric, or bring the colors together in handmade pieces you’ll look forward to using each year.
These same patterns can carry on well beyond Christmas, too.
From My Home ~
The Beginning of Scandi Tulip
Fjord Teal and Antique Gold began with a quilt owned and perhaps made by my husband’s great-GREAT-grandmother. Its colors helped shape the direction of my Study, where I wanted new patterns to live comfortably alongside pieces gathered over time.
The quilt at the foot of the bed in this photo is a different one—one we brought home from India. Both quilts have a place in our home, but it was his great-GREAT-grandmother’s quilt that inspired this colorway.
I’ve been testing Scandi Tulip fabric against the Study walls and considering how to use it in the room, with coordinating textiles planned for the upholstered pieces. I’ll share more of the process—and the finished room—as it comes together.
